With the advent of modern life, work in the fields has become increasingly forgotten, and consequently stigmatized. Here, we reclaim farming in all its glory.

Agrícola Son Burixó is where we reconnect with our roots: with our ancestors who found their way of understanding life in the countryside, and with the generation before us, who since 1990 has taken care of the land, year after year, to harvest the best fruits.

People who have already left us and people who, fortunately, still accompany us today with their wisdom and knowledge that must necessarily be passed down from generation to generation. Knowledge that, linked to new technologies and technical knowledge, must allow us to preserve this little treasure that is our Son Burixó farm, in Sant Joan, in the Pla de Mallorca: the heart and granary of Mallorca.

From Sant Joan (Mallorca), for decades, we have been delivering our products throughout the island.

Currently, our production lines focus on fruit (specializing in the production of peaches) and cereals and legumes for livestock.

Our fruit farm

Our plantations in Son Burixó , planted in 1990 and partially renovated, continue to be the driving force of this family business. 2.5 hectares of extensive production, with 800 peach trees of over 10 varieties , along with apricot trees.

These plantations are complemented by Es Pou Nou , half a hectare of plum and peach trees.

In mind, a new plantation that will allow us to continue in the same line.

Our herb farm

Cereals (barley, wheat, oats, triticale), legumes (peas and fava beans) and forages are the triad of herbaceous elements that we can find on our farm.

Dozens of hectares where crop rotation and the planting of legumes help us to manage the land better and more sustainably.

In this way we contribute to the cereal tradition of Sant Joan and to maintaining the typical landscape of the Pla de Mallorca, as valued by those who live there as by those who visit us.
